The fate of the world is at stake...

On March 28 we’re running Urban Nightmare, a megagame for 52 players.

In Urban Nightmare, players are residents and officials in a few larger cities across an unassuming state. A strange illness has gripped the populace, and the dead rise to walk the earth. Defend your loved ones and figure out how to contain and combat this looming threat, before it overwhelms your city or the entire state. Manage forces, negotiate with others, and work to save your home. And, as the quote says, "never let a good crisis go to waste." Perhaps you can even advance your position and come out the other side better off...

You will evaluate and plan with other players in your area, and coordinate with the other areas of the game. Throughout, you will be interacting with the other players in this massive, live-action game played over the course of six hours.

Warning: to simulate the the feeling of facing a novel danger, many of this megagame's rules are not revealed until they are applicable. This can be frustrating at times for some players, but we hope it leads to fun outcomes by the end of the game.

The game will happen at Game Kastle in Wells Branch. Doors open at 10:30AM, with the game starting at 11 AM. There will be a lunch break at around 12:30PM.
